'NBA Playgrounds' News: Incoming Rookies Included in 'Hot N' Frosty' DLC Pack
Eight new rookies featured in the recently released DLC pack
A new downloadable content pack has been released for "NBA Playgrounds," and it contains some significant additions, including a bunch of incoming rookies.
Announced just previously, the "Hot N' Frosty" DLC pack contains a total of eight new players who are also going to make their debuts in the league this upcoming season.
Leading off the list of new roster additions is the player who was taken first overall in the NBA Draft earlier this year by the Philadelphia 76ers, and it is none other than guard Markelle Fultz. Dynamic Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball will also be made available to players.
Former Duke University standout Jayson Tatum, who was chosen third overall by the Boston Celtics, is also included in the DLC pack. Following Tatum is the man who the Phoenix Suns took with the fourth overall pick, the athletic, playmaking forward Josh Jackson.
New Sacramento King De'Aaron Fox has been added to "NBA Playgrounds" as well, along with Orlando Magic draftee Jonathan Isaac.
Interestingly enough, the players taken seventh, eighth and tenth overall were not featured in the "Hot N' Frosty" DLC pack. Instead, the two players who round out the list of eight are Dennis Smith Jr. of the Dallas Mavericks and Malik Monk of the Charlotte Hornets.
Apart from the rookies, the new DLC pack also added three more playgrounds and tournaments to the game. The three new playgrounds and tournaments are based in Miami, Rio de Janeiro and Toronto.
Lastly, three new balls were also included in the DLC pack with those being Camouflage, Purple and Soccer, according to the PlayStation Store listing for it.
PC, PS4 and Xbox One players can get the new DLC pack for $9.99. The DLC pack is currently unavailable for the Nintendo Switch version of "NBA Playgrounds," though developers shared over on Twitter that they are still working to change that.
