NBA Rumors: Phoenix Suns Willing to Trade Eric Bledsoe, Jared Dudley, and Tyson Chandler
While the 2017-18 NBA season has yet to kick off, rumors already claim that the Phoenix Suns are already entertaining the idea of trading three of their most valued players: Eric Bledsoe, Jared Dudley, and Tyson Chandler.
Bledsoe experienced the best season of his career in the previous season by delivering an average of 21.1 points and 6.3 assists per game. Although he is still under contract with the Suns for almost $30 million over the next two seasons, rumors claim that the Phoenix Suns are willing to trade him in the event that other teams express their interest in the point guard.
Apart from Bledsoe, it is also alleged that the Phoenix Suns are willing to let go of Dudley and Chandler, too. Nonetheless, while the two no longer has the offensive impact of Bledsoe, they are still considered as valuable assets of the Phoenix Suns because of their defense, hence, the team does not really feel the urgency to drop them from its roster of players.
It has been learned that, just like Bledsoe, Dudley, and Chandler are also under contract with the Phoenix Suns until the 2018-19 NBA season. While each of the three has something unique to offer to the team, it is observed that their presence deprives the younger players of the Phoenix Suns a good amount of playing time.
Bleacher Report opines that high draft picks Dragan Bender, Marquese Chriss, and Josh Jackson could develop into a top young core with Devin Booker, the team's star shooter, if given the opportunity to grow.
Of all the young players on the roster of the Phoenix Sun, though, Yahoo Sports believes that Jackson has the best potential. Apart from his anticipated tandem with Booker possibly becoming one of the best in the NBA, the news outlet also believes that he can also help his team in stabilizing their offense.
However, with Bledsoe, Dudley, and Chandler, one can only wonder how the young players of Phoenix Sun can be given the chance to shine.
