NBA Trade Rumors: Chicago Bulls May Be Willing to Move Dwyane Wade

Cleveland Cavaliers mentioned as a team that may be interested in dealing for Wade

It's no secret that there have been some rough times for the Chicago Bulls recently, with rumblings hinting that some of the teammates aren't getting along. Their current record is also quite indicative of a team that may not be all that capable of putting together a long playoff run, which is probably why the latest NBA trade rumors tease that they may be interested in making some moves.

Specifically, rumors are indicating that the Bulls may even be open to offloading veteran Dwyane Wade during this trading season.

A recent report from Sir Charles in Charge features an interesting quote from ESPN's Dan Le Batard concerning Wade's situation with the Bulls. According to Le Batard, the Bulls are "willing to trade" Wade.

Now, the Bulls reportedly being open to moving Wade doesn't necessarily mean that the multi-time All-Star is on his way out.

For one thing, it's unclear if there may even be a team that would be willing and able to deal for Wade.

Wade is one of the league's elder statesmen at this point in his career, and while he's still capable of putting up solid scoring numbers, his skillset does not do him any favors, as there may not be a lot of teams looking for a shooting guard who isn't known as a knockdown outside shooter.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been mentioned as a potential landing spot for Wade, but it is unclear if the reigning NBA champions may not be even able to make that deal happen.

An earlier report from ESPN featured a quote from LeBron James touching on his team's interest in signing Wade prior to this season. According to James, the team "couldn't afford him," referring to Wade, and it doesn't look like things have really changed since then.

Ultimately, even if the Bulls do want to move on from Wade, they may be unable to receive sufficient value in any trade for him, and they may have a tough time simply finding trading partners.

The latest NBA trade rumors may be indicating that Wade is available, but fans should probably not be all that surprised if he still finishes up this season with the Chicago Bulls.
