NBA Trade Rumors for 2016-17 NBA Season: Beasley to Bucks, McGee to Final Roster of Warriors, Paul to Spurs

The NBA off-season continues to be busy with trades, signings, and trade rumors. Here are some of the latest trade rumors for the 2016-17 NBA Season.

1. Michael Beasley to Milwaukee Bucks

This one isn't a rumor, but Michael Beasley has found a new home with the Milwaukee Bucks. Houston Rockets traded Beasley to the Bucks in exchange for Tyler Ennis.

According to Jon Hammond, Bucks general manager, Beasley "can bring a scoring mentality off our bench." Last season, Beasley played in the Chinese Basketball Association. He was named foreign player of the year, averaging 31.9 points, 13.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.

In the NBA, Beasley averaged 12.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game last season. More importantly, he had a 52.2% field goal percentage with the Houston Rockets, playing just 20 games.

Back in 2008, Michael Beasley was drafted number 2 overall pick by the Miami Heat, but he never became the superstar everyone thought he would be.

Beasley will help fill the (rather large) void Khris Middleton has left due to a hamstring injury. Middleton had his best season in 2015-16, averaging 18.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Doctors say he will need 6 months to recover.

2. Javale McGee on Final Roster of Warriors

Javale McGee has been a regular in Shaqtin a Fool, a segment on Inside the NBA, due to his poor plays and humorous mistakes on court. But McGee has a lot of potential due to his length and athleticism.

According to Sportsrageous, McGee has a chance at making the final roster of the Golden State Warriors. That's because he gets Andre Iguodala's recommendation and he has a unique set of skills and physical attributes.

Andre Iguodala and Javale McGee played together in Denver. Other centers already with the Warriors are Anderson Varejao, Damian Jones and likely starting center Zaza Pachulia.

McGee averaged 5.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game last season with the Dallas Mavericks.

3. Chris Paul to San Antonio Spurs

Recently, Chris Paul has made trade rumor news because of the possibility that he will become a free agent in 2017. As such, basketball writers are discussing the potential best team fit for Paul as he moves on to the next chapter of his NBA career.

According to the Sports Daily, both the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs are the best teams for Chris Paul if he decides to leave the Clippers.

With the Spurs, Paul will enjoy distributing the ball and targeting one of the front court players, LaMarcus Aldridge or Pau Gasol. Kawhi Leonard could also be a recipient of one of the best passers in the league today.

Chris Paul averaged 19.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 10.0 assists and 2.1 steals per game last season.
