NBC Robin Roberts Tweet Blocked: Ann Curry Twitter Support Message Blocked by NBC? (VIDEO)
NBC reportedly blocked a Robin Roberts tweet that Ann Curry had requested to send.
According to a report in Gawker, Ann Curry previously asked NBC bosses at the Today Show whether it would be ok for her to send a public "note of sympathy" to Robin Roberts, who has been fighting myelodysplastic syndrome.
However, NBC bosses allegedly blocked the request, simply tell her "no."

Gawker has reported in its claims, "When Robin Roberts left 'Good Morning America' to get treatment for MDS, Curry asked NBC if she could tweet a note of sympathy for the ABC co-host. NBC said no, afraid she was trying to aid the enemy."
Reports of the friction surrounding Ann Curry and NBC bosses have been hitting fever pitch over recent months.
Just earlier this year reports circulated that Curry was not being allowed live on the air on NBC, and that she was trying to get out of her contract at the network.
According to a report in the New York Post, Curry was banned from appearing live on NBC, and was only allowed to do pre-recorded interviews.
Curry was famously dropped from the Today show last year, and is now a correspondent for NBC News.
A source told the New York Post: "There's growing friction because she's been pushing for live interviews, but NBC will only air her taped interviews, presumably so they can edit them."
Curry has previously been reported to have asked NBC to get out of her contract so she could join CNN. However, NBC reportedly will only allow her to leave and break her contract if she does not appear on TV for the next six months.
