'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 7 Episode 7 Spoilers: Kensi, Deeks Rescue A Former Department Of Defense Employee
The hit crime fighting drama TV series from CBS, "NCIS: Los Angeles Season 7," will return this week with a brand new episode that will see two agents of the organization going inside the lion's den in order to extract a former government employee.
The synopsis for the episode titled "An Unlocked Mind" was posted over at The Futon Critic and talks about Kensi and Deeks going undercover as cult members of The Church of the Unlocked Mind.
Their order of business is to rescue a former Department of Defense employee who left his job after his brother died of a disease. The man turns out to hold vital knowledge about the country's latest defense tactic named "EXACTO." While inside, he has been brainwashed to reveal the classified information.

While the pair gets themselves indoctrinated by the organization's teachings, the rest of the NCIS team is working hard to prevent the cult from selling critical information to the enemy of the state.
Needless to say, things will go awry for both Kensi and Deeks as what the latest promo video for the episode suggests. The clip gave a glimpse of the charismatic leader welcoming the newcomers. The next scenes, however, show a rather terrifying truth about how the cult gives initiation to the upcoming members with one of them getting slapped in the face hard.
One member, a woman, can also be seen speaking about the horror of getting inside the cult. According to her, "people have disappeared" and it seems like the operatives won't only be concerned about getting the government employee from the cult's clutches. It appears they will also let themselves get involved in investigating the people who have died or suffered while in The Church of the Unlocked Mind.
