Will Deeks have a new partner while Kensi is on a mysterious assignment?
In the return of "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 to the small screen, fans are already excited if they will be hearing wedding bells from the fan favorite couple, Kensi Blye (Daniella Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen). The last time they were seen, the couple took their relationship to the next level when they decided to move in together.
Daniella Ruah's pregnancy
Because of Ruah's real life pregnancy, fans are assuming that marriage will be the next step for the on-screen pair on "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8. According to them, it might be a good idea to incorporate her pregnancy into the story. But, the showrunners apparently want to show a proper proposal for Deeks and Kensi first.

EP Scott Gemmill said in an interview that Kensi will undergo a pivotal transition in her life in the upcoming season of "NCIS: Los Angeles". This will probably be the story arc the actress' character in the series will take now that the actress has taken her maternity leave. The life changing transition could have something to do with last season's main villain, Tahir Khaled (Anslem Richardson).
Marty Deeks gets a new partner?
Another teaser going around is that Deeks will be having a new partner in "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 while Kensi is doing a mysterious assignment. This may be another way of going around Ruah's pregnancy. Still, the actress has assured the fans of the show that they will not even realize that she is temporarily gone from the series.
Ruah in an interview praised the writers for working her pregnancy into the series seamlessly. She revealed that her storyline will continue smoothly when she reports back to the set after two weeks of giving birth.
Ruah acknowledged though that the writers were forced to take a drastic turn in Kensi's life to accommodate her pregnancy. She applauded them for coming up with something new for her to play with. She revealed that she was able to shoot most of her scenes before her maternity leave and she will be back to shoot more scenes within the storyline after she gives birth.
LL Cool J gives a spoiler
Meanwhile, LL Cool J, who plays Sam Hanna, teased about someone dying in Season 8 of the show. A Syrian terrorist character in the coming season will probably have something to do with the death. Some spoilers say however that it will still be connected to Tahir, who was responsible for putting Kensi's life in danger last season. For now, all the fans can do is to wait until the series returns.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 will be back to CBS on October 2.
