'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 9 Episode 3 Spoilers: Squad Investigates a Traitor in the Navy
The squad will investigate a possible traitor in the Navy in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles."
In the episode titled "Assets," the synopsis, according to CarterMatt, reveals that Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and the others will take on the case of a Navy lieutenant who specialized in monitoring classified Intel. The woman was found dead while on leave in the city. The NCIS has reasons to believe that she was selling surveillance briefs to a foreign buyer before she died. It may also have been the reason why she was killed. It is up to the team to find the anonymous customer and retrieve the briefs as soon as possible before all hell breaks loose.
Meanwhile, the promo finally shows a glimpse of Hetty (Linda Hunt) after it was revealed last episode that she was on a secret mission in Vietnam. Hetty was looking for a former CIA agent who was allegedly another survivor in the plane crash that almost ended her life many years ago. The "bogeyman" had been reportedly killing people since 1969. Hetty wants to find him and solve the puzzle that has been plaguing her for so long.
Meanwhile, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) will have another round of horrible meeting with the new boss, Mosley (Nia Long). The latter has been vocal about her dislike of the pair's relationship ever since she was transferred to the LA headquarters. Last time, Mosley told Callen that they must send off Deeks from the team since they did not need an LAPD detective in their investigations. Callen put her in her place and told her the group was fine as it was. Things have been doubly difficult for Callen and the others since Hetty left.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" airs Sundays, at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
