'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 9 Spoilers: Mosley Is Out to Get 'Densi' Couple

Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will discover that the new boss is not as supportive of their relationship as Granger (Miguel Ferrer) was in the upcoming season of "NCIS: Los Angeles."

Showrunner R. Scott Gemmill recently revealed that the new executive assistant director, Mosley (Nia Long), does not approve of dating in the work place. As far as she is concerned, the NCIS agents must only focus on work and avoid personal complications that may affect their missions. In last season's finale, Deeks and Kensi got engaged. She surprised him with a proposal just when he was thinking that she did not want to get married to him. Prior to that, Deeks had already asked Kensi a number of times to marry him but she told him to wait because she was not physically and emotionally ready for that next step.

"But there's a new sheriff in town," the EP teased, hinting that Mosley is "very concerned about having the couple working together."

Gemmill added that Long's character "doesn't even think that Deeks should be working for NCIS. She sees him as more of a civilian than what our other guys are."

Meanwhile, it has been teased that Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) will return in season 9. The former cop is set to work with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on an important case. Spoilers indicate that she will still have time to meet up with Callen (Chris O'Donnell). The security specialist has been going out with the NCIS agent since season 6. They have yet to put a label in their relationship, though. Fans of the series have been waiting for the moment Callen asks Anna to be his girlfriend. He certainly needs some distraction, as it is about to become toxic at work, thanks to Mosley.

Speculations are rife that Mosley will not get along well with the NCIS squad. She will have a lot of expectations and will push the agents past their limit. It will not help that Hetty (Linda Hunt) appears to be AWOL. When the new series starts, the diminutive leader of the group will be missing. The higher-ups previously wanted her to resign because of a big mess.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 9 will air on Oct. 1 at 9:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
