'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 3 Episode 13 Spoilers: Sebastian Gets His Share of Action
Sebastian (Rob Kerkovich) is officially joining the team as a special agent in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans."
In the episode titled "Return of the King," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that the forensic scientist has passed his exam and will be out in the field with Pride (Scott Bakula) and the others. Sebastian has always wanted to become a special agent. Last episode, he proved how important he was to the squad. While he was taking the exam, he still managed to help the team in stopping a major catastrophe from happening.
Everything started when the body of a lieutenant was fished out of the sea. He had a gaping wound in his stomach. Pride had the others call Sebastian because no one could unlock the mystery other than him. Sebastian's training officer told him that he could fail the exam because he was breaking the rules, but he said helping his team was more important than the badge. He stirred Pride in the right direction by suggesting that a welding torch could have been used to kill the lieutenant.
The NCIS discovered that he had been murdered on his own boat. The killer was his brother-in-law who had been caught using the craft to sabotage an oil rig. It turned out he was in cahoots with the son of the rig's owner. They drilled holes into the pressure system to blow up the whole place. Pride was trapped on the rig with the killer and his accomplices. Sebastian saved the day when he used his computer to shut down the system and prevent the blow up.
In the next episode, Sebastian will join the team as they track down a group of underground hackers. The hackers are led by Elvis Bertrand (Tom Arnold), a former Navy intelligence analyst and Pride's friend. The faction stole thousands of classified files from the government.
"NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 episode 13 will air Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
