'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 3 Episode 17 Spoilers: Squad Goes on a Citywide Manhunt
Pride (Scott Bakula) and his team will track down a highly skilled, extremely dangerous criminal on the streets of the Big Easy in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans."
According to CarterMatt, the first of the back-to-back episodes in March 14 will see the NOLA team on a citywide manhunt. The synopsis for the episode titled "Swift, Silent, Deadly" reveals that the criminal on the loose is a special ops marine who assaulted six men in a bar. The officer is a deadly foe that the NCIS must take down before he can hurt other civilians. The agents must be very careful, as any of them may be targeted next. The suspect is armed and skilled, a hunter among hunters. This is definitely going to be one of the most difficult cases Pride's team has handled.
Meanwhile, the second episode titled "Slay the Dragon" will focus on Gregorio's (Vanessa Ferlito) reaction when she is reunited with her husband. Ethan McKinley (Ed Quinn) is wanted by the government for embezzling money from the Katrina relief funds. He left the country with his $80 million and let his wife face the repercussions of his crime. Ethan is not there to say sorry to Gregorio, though. He came out of hiding because he is being suspected of murdering the son of a crime boss.
The episode is expected to be an emotional one for Gregorio. In a previous interview with TV Guide, Ferlito said that the experience scarred her character for life. There is a positive side to Ethan's arrival, though. Perhaps, Gregorio can finally have the closure she needs.
"Her weakness is this burden she carries from her past. It's really bad. She feels responsible that many people suffered as a result of something she was involved with. She doesn't trust anybody because of what happened. She's a wonderful agent but when she comes to New Orleans it opens old wounds and she has to face it and get closure," Ferlito said, according to TV Guide.
"NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
