'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 3 Episode 19: Squad to Save City From Deadly Virus Outbreak

Pride (Scott Bakula) and his team will race against time to stop a potential virus outbreak in the city in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans."

In the episode titled "Quid Pro Quo," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that New Orleans will be on red alert when it is discovered that a bioterrorist is on the loose. The NOLA team will be tapped to investigate an accident at the naval base. A man jumped off a building in an apparent suicide. A further probe will reveal that an entire Seabees unit was also killed. They were poisoned with a contagious disease. The NCIS must do their best to stop the super virus from spreading to the city, but things will soon take a turn for the worse.

While doing a postmortem on one of the victim's bodies, Dr. Wade (CCH Pounder) becomes infected with the virus. The promo (via Spoilers Guide) shows her becoming sick due to the poison in her blood. She has only several hours to live. Pride tries to give her encouragement, but he too can see how futile the situation is. He cannot afford to lose another friend in the team. Having already lost one when Brody (Zoe McLellan) left, Pride will make sure Wade will stay with them for a long time. He and the squad must hurry, though. In the clip, Wade is inside the isolation room. Soon, she collapses.
