'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 3 Episode 20: Pride Worries for Rita's Safety
More of Mayor Hamilton's (Steven Weber) shady works will be revealed in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans."
In the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans" titled "NOLA Confidential," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that Hamilton's connection to the Clearwater anomaly will be investigated by the Assistant District Attorney. Pride's (Scott Bakula) friend, Rita (Chelsea Field), is quite sure that the politician is behind all the illegal activities. After the huge reveal last episode regarding the super virus that took out a group of Seabees, it has become clear that Hamilton is anything but an innocent public servant.
Pride even went to see the Mayor and warned him that the NCIS will continue the probe against him. If he comes out clean, they will issue a public apology. But if Hamilton is proven to be guilty, Pride assured him that he has nowhere to run. The senior agent knows that he angered the mayor and that the latter might soon retaliate. That is why he cannot help but worry for Rita now that she has revealed her plans about Hamilton. Pride thinks the politician will not think twice about killing the ADA to save his own skin.
Meanwhile, LaSalle (Lucas Black) will find himself reuniting with his former partner. Unfortunately, he cannot call it a happy occasion. An investigation will reveal that some members of the police department have been working with an international drug ring. LaSalle's friend is one of those in the list of possible suspects. It looks like some of the agents have been protecting the syndicate in exchange of huge sums of money. It is up to LaSalle to find out if the intel they have received is spot on. If the accusations are true, then he will have the unfortunate job of sending an old friend behind bars.
"NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
