'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 3 Spoilers: Pride's Team Race Against Time to Save Kidnapped Petty Officer; 2 Cases May be Too Much for Team to Handle

A new case of a kidnapped petty officer will have the team of Dwayne Pride scrambling. However, the case featured in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 may be too big for the team to handle as the team is still recovering from losing Brody and Pride's relationship with the FBI is not what it used to be.
Agent Gregorio stood up for team
Pride (Scott Bakula) put his career on the line to help a friend even with the FBI breathing down his neck in last week's episode of "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 . Special Agent Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito), who was sent to investigate the team following the Brody debacle, stood up for Pride and his team.

Gregorio was also able to work with them to solve a multiple homicide case. Most important of all, she seems to be making some headway in her integration with the new team which will certainly help them in dealing with their new case.
2 Cases involving petty officers
A new case will challenge Pride and his team in episode 3 of "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 when a decorated petty officer is discovered dead in a sports arena. The team will discover evidence that leads them to another case which involves a kidnapped petty officer who they learned was last seen in Mexico.
The two cases appear to be connected to each other but "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 spoilers tease that the team has to race against the clock in order to save the life of the kidnapped petty officer. Initially, the two cases would seem to be too much to be handled by Pride and his team that calling a SWAT team to provide reinforcements will be considered.
Some photos from the new episode of "NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 show the NCIS team heading to the south of the border. Photos of the team in the first crime scene reveal that guest star Mario Lopez will be playing an New Orleans PD officer.
Gary Glasberg's death
As most fans of the NCIS franchise know by now, its renowned producer Gary Glasberg died in his sleep last September 28. The cast and crew of the NCIS franchise praised the late Glasberg for being their rock and team captain in a statement on Twitter.
The statement went on to say that NCIS will not be the same without him and that they will all miss his smiling face and unwavering humor which lifted the cast and staff every day. His leadership, creative instincts and his keen insight inspired all of them.
"NCIS: New Orleans" Season 3 episode 3 will air on October 11. It is titled "Man on Fire".
