'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 4 Episode 5 Spoilers: Is Sebastian's Career Over?

Sebastian (Rob Kerkovich) will find himself in hot water in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans."

In the episode titled "Viral", the synopsis reveals that the forensic-turned-field agent will be placed on administrative leave following the mess of a case involving a high-value fugitive. FBI Special Agent Isler (Derek Webster) will return to head the investigation against Sebastian.

The promo released shows the NCIS and the criminal in a tense cat and mouse chase, which will result in a deadly shooting. Unfortunately, when the authorities examine the corpse, it is revealed that the man was unarmed and that Sebastian's actions were uncalled for.

Also seen is Pride (Scott Bakula) trying to defend his subordinate from Isler. The FBI agent, however, is firm with his decision that Sebastian shooting a defenseless man is breaking the law. In the latter part of the clip, Sebastian is seen handing over the badge he has worked so hard for. It can be recalled that in the last installment, he took the qualifying exam under duress. He had to help his team prevent a huge explosion from happening. Sebastian has proven to Pride how much he wanted to become a field agent. One mistake will not likely change the older man's opinion of the younger.

In the last episode, the squad got a spooky case involving a copycat murder. There was a well-known ghost story in New Orleans that spoke of the death of a Confederate sailor named Cornelius LaRue. He fell to his death 150 years ago, and his murder was not solved. Rumors claim that his ghost continued to haunt his house. When a petty officer was found dead on the anniversary of Cornelius's death, having fallen from the same rooftop as the soldier, the NCIS had to investigate. At the end of the episode, both murders where solved.

"NCIS: New Orleans" season 4 airs Tuesdays, at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
