'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 4 Spoilers: NOLA Team and the FBI to Clash

The NOLA squad will soon feel the backlash of their leader's suspension in the next season of "NCIS: New Orleans."

As revealed in the spoilers, the premiere episode of the new installment will see the NCIS team without Pride (Scott Bakula). The senior agent will be facing disciplinary action regarding his operation against Mayor Hamilton (Steven Weber). Last season, Pride abducted the politician and made him admit to his crimes to the Clearwater residents. It has been teased that the higher-ups will not take kindly to his rogue ways, thus Pride's team will be temporarily managed by Supervisory Special Agent Paula Boyd (Becky Ann Baker). However, even though Boyd is fair in her treatment of others, the team will still feel anxious working with her.

The first drawback of having Boyd as the boss will come with a huge case involving a stolen rig of nuclear waste. The FBI will be called to lead the investigation, while the NCIS agents will be forced to stay in the sidelines. This will create tension between the two teams, especially when the case takes a turn for the worse, and the NOLA squad will definitely count the days until Pride's suspension is up.

The promo photos released (via Parade) reveal that the agent will spend his free time tinkering in his bar. In the images, Pride is shown wearing a simple gray shirt and jeans while fixing some stuff he was not able to work on while on assignment.

Pride was shown getting help from Patton (Daryl Mitchell). The investigative computer specialist was spotted picking up a paintbrush from one of the tables. Tammy (Vanessa Ferlito) and LaSalle (Lucas Black) were also revealed to be dropping by to check on their boss. Pride looked okay with his predicament and determined to make the most out of it by focusing on his business. There was even a photo of him jamming with other musicians on a busy night. If he misses his work with the NCIS, he seems to be doing a good job of keeping it to himself so as not to worry his friends and colleagues.

"NCIS: New Orleans" is expected to return on Sept. 26 at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
