'NCIS' Season 13 Cast News, Update: Police Procedural Nabs the First Lady for Guest Role?

Throughout its thirteen seasons, CBS' hit police procedural drama TV series, has been featuring a handful of big celebrity names appearing as either themselves or for a particular role. The current season, however, will see the arrival of one real-life famous personality.

According to reports, Season 13 will have a high-profile guest star in the person of Michelle Obama, the First Lady of the United States of America. Raising the bar even higher, it is also said that filming for this particular episode has taken place inside the White House. In fact, the series star, Mark Harmon, was spotted among the crowd of tourists, press members, and protesters in the First Family's official residence.

As detailed by The Washington Post, Harmon, who plays the part of NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, was recognized by one of their personnel "poking around" the White House's northwest gate on Sunday.

The 64-year-old was easily recognized by his "black jacket, and a scarf to match his silvery hair." When asked by the Post's source, the actor said that the show is set to film this week in both the exterior and interior part of the famous house.

Joining the fray is none other than the wife of the real-life POTUS, Barack Obama.

The subsequent report by TVLine confirms that the cast and crew of the popular CBS drama are in the state capital this Monday to do the aforementioned scene. The network, however, failed to clarify if the FLOTUS is really making a cameo.

Regardless of which, "NCIS" Season 13 will return this Tuesday, Apr. 19 with a brand new episode titled "Return to Sender."

The synopsis from the Futon Critic reads:

Gibbs and Senior FBI Agent T.C. Fornell (Joe Spano) unite after two British prisoners, including a former spy, escape and arrive stateside via a shipping container. Also, McGee (Sean Murray) is busy apartment hunting and determined to find out how DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) purchased his lavish place.
