'NCIS' Season 13 News, Spoilers: Trouble At Pharma Lab; Abby Taken Hostage

A thrilling and suspenseful episode awaits the fans of CBS' hit crime-fighting drama TV series "NCIS" this week. According to spoiler reports, the new segment will focus on one of the show's favorite characters – Abby Sciuto.

Citing the report from LatinPost.com, it is said that the episode titled "Lockdown" will find the NCIS team member visiting a pharmaceutical lab. Abby's goal is to interview a physician concerning a homicide case. Things escalate quickly when a group of armed men enter the building. Panic ensues and Abby is left trapped inside the vicinity. Making the matters worse is that she has no means to tell the rest of the squad about the situation.

As further divulged by the website, in this Abby-centric segment, viewers will get to see "a different side of Abby" when she takes charge of the situation by negotiating with the bandits for the safety of all the hostages. According the report, the intense hostage scenario will "spark much emotion" from both Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Agent Timothy McGee.

Being exceptionally smart and witty, Abby manages to contact Gibbs. She tells the agent of her current location as well as of the ongoing hostage taking which, as it turns out, is being led by the janitors in the establishment.

Another interesting thing to look forward to in this episode, besides Abby taking the center stage, is the introduction of former NFL player and now the studio analyst for "The NFL Today" and contributor for "Thursday Night Football," Tony Gonzalez. The TV and sports personality will be guest starring as NCIS Special Agent Tony Francis.

Abby is played by Pauley Perrette. Gibbs and McGee, on the other hand, are portrayed by Mark Harmon and Sean Murray, respectively.
