'NCIS' Season 13 Spoilers: Tony DiNozzo's Ex-GF Jeanne Benoit to Return
"NCIS" season 13 is bound to let ex-lovers Tony DiNozzo and Jean Benoit's paths to cross once again.
In season 4, Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Jean Benoit (Scottie Thompson) had a bitter separation in the past because of a conflict between work and personal interest. But in "NCIS" season 13, DiNozzo will once again come face-to-face with his ex-girlfriend and find out if his feelings for her still remain, according to Realty Today.
Benoit is the doctor that DiNozzo fell in love with in "NCIS" season 4. At that time, DiNozzo was assigned to take down an illegal arms dealer with the aliases "La Grenouille" and "The Frog." Coincidentially, the arms dealer is Rene Benoit, Dr. Benoit's father, the report details.
DiNozzo and Benoit's relationship turned sour when the latter found out about her boyfriend's mission. She then gave him a choice between his mission and their relationship. By some weird twist of fate, La Grenouille got killed without DiNozzo's intervention, but Benoit thought her boyfriend was behind the act.
When they finally face each other again in season 13, Tony DiNozzo and Jeanne Benoit will find out if they really meant the bitter words they said to each other in the past, the report adds.
Meanwhile, "NCIS" director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) and special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will team up in the fourth episode titled "Double Trouble" to solve a murder case connected with Vance's previous case. He was responsible for locking up an NCIS agent who was caught stealing evidence, Design & Trend reports.
The said murder case will be linked to the same jailed NCIS agent. Since Vance feels responsible for his predicament, he wants to help solve the case. The whole NCIS team will pitch in their efforts to help prove that their director is innocent in the case, the report details.
"NCIS" season 13 airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
