'NCIS' Season 15 Episode 2 Spoilers, Plot News: Gibbs and McGee to See a Shrink
Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and McGee (Sean Murray) need to undergo a psychiatric evaluation in the upcoming episode of "NCIS."
In the episode titled "Twofer," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that the two NCIS agents will have to see a shrink before they can return to work following the traumatic experience they had in Paraguay. In the previous episode, it was revealed that the squad finally managed to track down and save the two men after a few months of torture and incarceration. It has been previously teased that the experience would have a lasting effect on both Gibbs and McGee. They have to see Dr. Grace Confalone (Laura San Giacomo), as per advice by the higher-ups.
Based on the promo (via Spoilers Guide) released, both agents certainly need professional help. In the clip, McGee was shown asking Gibbs why he appeared okay when he is not. Although the older man was doing a good job showing that he was fine, it was actually the opposite. He told McGee how it was, that after two months of being in the hands of violent rebels, it was understandable that they retained some of the fear and trauma weeks after. Dr. Confalone is expected to help them get over this predicament. Viewers are rooting for both Gibbs and McGee to make a complete recovery soon, and based on the tight hug they shared in the promo, they will be there to support each other until the end.
Meanwhile, NCIS has a new case to unravel. The body of a missing Navy lieutenant will be discovered in a local cemetery. He mysteriously disappeared about a year ago. His remains were found when the cemetery ground crew was relocating caskets. The promo showed that the body was hidden in an old casket and it was revealed when the coffin accidentally crashes to the ground from the excavator. Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) was shown leading the investigation. They will have to find out who wanted the officer dead and why.
"NCIS" season 15 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
