'NCIS' Season 15 Spoilers: Torres Leads Reinvestigation of Cold Case
Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) will find himself searching for a missing partner and digging up an old case in the upcoming season of "NCIS."
In the season's third episode titled "Exit Strategy," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that while doing surveillance with the Metro police department, the person Torres is matched up with disappears. With the help of his NCIS team, Torres will go through the city to find the missing man. In doing so, he will dig up new pieces of evidence on a murder case that took place a long time ago. Torres must locate his partner and try to make sense of the new clues to unlock the decade-old crime.
Meanwhile, Ducky (David McCallum) is set to meet his old friend, Cadence Darwin (Susan Blakely). She will reportedly give him "a new opportunity" to think about. Is it about work? Will Ducky ever consider leaving NCIS because of another offer?
Meanwhile, the first two episodes of season 15 are expected to deal with the search and rescue operation for Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and McGee (Sean Murray). The two were last seen fighting insurgents on Paraguayan soil.
Recent spoilers reveal that a time jump of two months has occurred when the new installment starts. During that time, the two NCIS agents have been held and tortured by the rebels, and their teammates still have no idea where they are. Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) is revealed to be having trouble with the court, as the latter will not allow NCIS to launch its own investigation. Vance and the others agents are tired of waiting for intel about Gibbs and McGee. They want to trace their location as soon as possible and see if they are still alive.
When the NCIS people eventually finds the missing men, they will discover that the incarceration has done a number on both Gibbs and McGee, more so on the older one. After all the torture they have endured, it will take a while for the two to get over the traumatic experience.
"NCIS" season 15 will air on Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
