'NCIS' Season 15 Spoilers: Vance Gets in Trouble for Disregarding Protocol on Rescue Operation
Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) is losing his mind trying to find his missing men in the new season of "NCIS."
The trailer (via Buddy TV) for the upcoming premiere revealed the NCIS director unable to keep his cool while arguing with the judge over the search and rescue operation for Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and McGee (Sean Murray). After two months of fruitless searching, it looks like the NCIS has not even come close to pinpointing where the rebels are holding the two agents captive. Vance sure looks like he would prefer to launch a separate operation on his own, but the court is against the idea. In the clip, the female judge is telling Vance to spill everything that he knows about the case or else he will be in trouble.
As recent spoilers have revealed, Gibbs and McGee are not faring well after being tortured by their captors for a couple of months. One of the rebels has even taken a liking to punching Gibbs, determined to force the older man into submission. Executive producer Frank Cardea has revealed that although the two will soon be rescued, the experience will have a huge effect on Gibbs. When he eventually reports back to work, his colleagues will find a scarred and traumatized man. The fans should not be too worried, though, as the agent will surely be back to his 100 percent self soon enough.
"I think what happens to Gibbs during that two months is going to change him a little bit. He'll still be the Gibbs we love, but he's going to be slightly different," the EP teased Parade.
Meanwhile, Torres (Wilmer Valderrama), who was with Gibbs and McGee in the Paraguayan mission, is determined to find them no matter what it takes. He was forced to leave the two behind in order to fly the abducted kids to safety. Torres is expected to play a much active role in season 15. He has finally learned to adjust to his new team. Torres was a former deep undercover agent before he was sent to the NCIS to work with Gibbs and the others.
"NCIS" season 15 will air on Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
