'Need for Speed Payback' Launch Trailer Features Tyler Morgan Rounding Up a Crew Against The House

Electronic Arts has released the official launch trailer for "Need for Speed Payback."

The trailer opens with a police car flying in the air. Former street racer Tyler Morgan and his crew prepare for action. "Let's bring down The House," Tyler says.

It is clear that there is going to be a lot of action in the upcoming sequel in addition to the exciting racing. The trailer boasts killer cars with an equally breathtaking setting.

"First we take on some weak racers, then we challenge the bosses," Tyler says as he lays out the plan.

But, before they can do any damage, Tyler and his crew must first get cars that perfectly suit them. Although The House has pretty much got the whole city under its thumb, Tyler and his crew are not backing away from the fight. It will not be easy, however, as the House controls the city's casinos, as well as its criminals and cops.

According to the Electronic Arts website, players have five different car classes to choose from in the game: Race, Drift, Off-Road, Drag, and Runner. Once they have their car selected, they can customize the look to suit their tastes. Players can also change the parts under the hood to make sure they get the perfect killer car.

In the game, players can also scavenge for cars at Fortune Valley. There are some abandoned cars that may turn out to be gems. As the trailer reveals, "[A]n artist can turn any pile of scrap into a supercar."

"Need for Speed Payback" releases on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this November. EA Access and Origin Access Members with the Play First Trial can already play the game. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition can start playing on Nov. 7. The rest can get their hands on the game on Nov. 10.
