Netflix's 'Gaga: Five Foot Two' News: Lady Gaga Talks About Her Fibromyalgia Condition in Upcoming Documentary
Award-winning singer and actress, Lady Gaga, will talk about her bout with a medical condition called fibromyalgia in her upcoming documentary by Netflix.
Recently, Netflix released the first trailer for its documentary titled "Gaga: Five Foot Two" which also premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival several days ago.
In the video teaser, the "Gaga: Five Foot Two" documentary followed the singer's activities while she was on the road for her performances. Meanwhile, some of the scenes shown in the trailer also let fans into Lady Gaga's bout with the chronic illness called fibromyalgia.

Days after Lady Gaga's appearance at the TIFF for a press conference on her upcoming documentary, the "Million Reasons" singer went to Twitter and shared that "Gaga: Five Foot Two" will feature her struggles with the said illness and that she hopes she could help raise awareness and connect to people experiencing it as well.
According to Mayo Clinic: "Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way your brain processes pain signals."
In one scene from the trailer, Lady Gaga was seen in a medical room while having a shot and she looked like she was in incredible pain.
Lady Gaga was also present for a press conference during TIFF to discuss the documentary and entertain questions from the media.
When the artist was asked about her chronic pain illness, she immediately got emotional and initially had a hard time speaking as she fought back tears. "It's hard. But it's liberating too," Lady Gaga said about having fibromyalgia.
On the other hand, when asked what she planned to do for the next five years, Lady Gaga immediately responded: "I'm gonna take a rest. ... I don't know how long."
However, the artist clarified that she will not stop "creating" and implied that she still had more work to announce in the future. But she added: "I'm looking forward to reflecting for a moment, and healing."
"Gaga: Five Foot Two" premieres on Friday, Sept. 22 on Netflix.
