As defending champions, the Patriots looked unstoppable in the league. Alongside the Carolina Panthers as the only two teams unbeaten until last week, the Patriots stumbled when they played an away game against the always-dangerous Denver Broncos.
It was a tight contest but eventually ended with a 30-24 win for Denver which halted New England's winning streak and now only places the Panthers as the only unbeaten team in the league.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are still struggling to get back on track as they were once at .500 with a 4-4 record in the league, but have since suffered consecutive losses to get to where they stand at the moment.
They lost to the Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions and are now trying to get a big upset win over New England.
