New Episodes of 'Kate Plus 8' to Premiere on January 2015 on TLC
Kate Gosselin and her brood are back.
The famous family is slated to return to TLC with eight brand new episodes after a long hiatus. It was reported that after the good reception that the "Kate Plus 8" special got back in June, TLC decided to bring back the whole family so viewers could once again get a glimpse of their life.
Fans of the family have tuned in ever since the show was called "Jon and Kate Plus 8," but now that patriarch Jon Gosselin is out of the picture, what can be expected from the show come 2015?
Kate still has her hands full with her children, and older twins Maddy and Cara are now teenagers who speak their own mind. They demand their own bedrooms and do sassy and accurate impressions of their mother. Meanwhile, the 10-year old sextuplets are as rambunctious as ever.
"They just have minds of their own," says an exasperated Kate of her kids. "And I just surrender."
Kate also admits that she feels overwhelmed at times keeping up with the demands of motherhood.
"I feel so overwhelmed lately that it's sometimes hard to stay positive," she says.
According to E! Online, the new episodes will show the family vacationing in Maine and collecting lobsters for dinner, renovating their house, celebrating their dog's birthday, planning a massive garage sale, and preparing for Cara and Maddy's 14th birthday party.
Aside from the TLC show, Kate will also be competing in next year's season of "Celebrity Apprentice," which will air on NBC on Jan. 4. The new season of "Kate Plus 8" premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 9/8c on TLC.
