'New Girl' Season 6 Episode 17: Nick and Schmidt Take Jess to Solvang for Some Relaxation
The upcoming episode of "New Girl" season 6 will see Nick (Jake Johnson) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) offering Jess (Zooey Deschanel) some support as she begins her new job as a school principal.
The synopsis for the new episode, titled "Rumspringa," states that Jess' new job will cause her to become understandably anxious and nervous. After all, she has spent most of her career teaching students instead of handling the job of a principal. Thankfully, Nick and Schmidt will have her back. The two boys will coordinate and opt to take Jess to Solvang to give her a chance to relax. However, it looks like their plans will go awry and things do not go their way.
Elsewhere, Winston (Lamorne Morris) will attempt to complete his divorce proceedings, but he will need the help of Cece (Hannah Simone). It can be recalled that Winston is still married to Rhonda (guest star Sonequa Martin-Green), but his plan of action will be hindered as he finds himself, along with Aly (Nasim Pedrad), in a prank sequence.

It was Valentine's Day and Jess did not have anyone to spend it with - a fact that all of her friends pitied her for, so much so that Winston even decided to postpone his proposal plans to Aly. However, things soon changed after Jess finally opted to use her celebrity chef dinner, which she won at an auction.
Gordon Ramsay cooked her a meal and his straightforward - and sometimes harsh - personality forced Jess to admit that she was angry, mainly because of Nick's 180-degree turnaround from being a crappy boyfriend (with Jess) to a great one (with Reagan, played by Megan Fox). With that, Jess decided to help Winston with his plan to propose to Aly, which involved a Bobcat suit and a dingy bus station bathroom.
After spending most of the season swallowing her feelings, Jess finally confronted herself on how she felt about Nick being Reagan's boyfriend.
