'New Girl' Season 6 Episode 21: Nick Sees Reagan Off; Jess Stays in Portland
The upcoming episode of "New Girl" season 6 will see Jess (Zooey Deschanel) still in Portland with her father, Bob (Rob Reiner), while Nick (Jake Johnson) deals with his relationship with Reagan (Megan Fox).
The synopsis of the new episode, titled "San Diego," states that Jess finds herself still in Portland as she cares for her dad and stays with him. As they bond, they inadvertently lend each other a hand when it comes to their romantic lives.
Elsewhere, Nick encounters a problem in his relationship with Reagan and asks an unwilling Aly (Nasim Pedrad) for help. Finally, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) considers the use of his first name.

Promotional photos for the next episode reveal a blast from the past as young Nick, Schmidt and Winston (Lamorne Morris) sit on a bed together in what appears to be a college dorm room. Nick has his long hair out and is wearing a tie dyed shirt, while Schmidt is still fat.
In Portland, Jess and Bob are in a restaurant and are greeted by a female server with a smile. Nick, on the other hand, is seen on a train with Reagan. He is presumably seeing her off after she gets her promotion. Other photos see Schmidt in a suit, Schmidt and Winston hugging, and Jess with a shopping cart of empty soda cans.

After wanting to avoid Nick because of her feelings for him, Jess decided to pay Bob a visit in Portland and stay with him for a while, even though Cece (Hannah Simone) urged her to come back home.
Winston introduced Aly to his mother, Charmaine (Anna Maria Horsford), for the first time. Charmaine was unaware of Winston's profession as a police officer, and he initially kept up a charade. However, by the end of the episode, Winston told Charmaine the truth and she accepted it.
Elsewhere, Nick realized that he was not satisfied with the way his relationship with Reagan was working out. In the end, he urged Reagan to take a promotion, which she was initially not going to accept because it requires a lot of traveling.
"New Girl" season 6 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
