LG came with a great surprise last night when it announced that it will be the first mobile company to ship Android phones with 7.0 Nougat. This Android phone is none other than the LG V20. LG has never made mention of this new model, thus making it one of the most surprising news in the tech industry in recent years.
LG V20: The Features
The LG V20 is expected to have the most updated Android features. This Android phone has a sleek 5.7–inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It comes with 3 GB RAM with 16 MP, laser autofocus, smile detection, panorama and HDR features. Among its unique features are dual front-facing cameras, secondary screen, steady record, advanced video recording features, manual video mode, faster video editing and sharing features. From the outside, the V20 has a new premium look with a durable skin. From the back side, a Fingerprint ID can be seen, which helps users keep their phone and all its data safe and secure.

Not the first Android to use Nougat
The LG V20 is the first phone to be SHIPPED and SOLD with the 7.0 Nougat, but it is not the first phone that will use the program. Nexus Android phones such as the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 9, Nexus Player and the Pixel C are a part of the Android N Developer Preview. This means that users of these phones may be able to use the Nougat before the LG V20 arrives.

Android Nougat with patch
Evan Blass leaked information about the Android Nougat, saying that it will be launched this month with the August 5 patch. Blass's announcement confused his online followers because when he mentioned a date in his announcement. However, he made it clear that the Nougat would be available August, and when it does, it would already contain the patch.
Nougat 7.0 release date
Google traditionally releases new products during the middle of the month, so fans and followers were puzzled after it announced that August 5 is the release date for the Nougat. There were no announcements that the August release is certain. Google also hinted that a stable build of the Nougat will come Q3, which gives them time till September.
