New Orleans Saints vs Green Bay Packers Live Stream: Watch Online NFL Sunday Football (4.25PM)
The New Orleans Saints will go into week 4 against the Green Bay Packers without having won a single game.
The first order of business on the Saint's agenda Sunday will be of course to win. But for the Saints losing isn't really an option at this point as the team has already suffered three losses in a row. Their largest point of strategy will be to focus on keeping Green Bay's quarterback and team MVP Aaron Rodgers grounded.
"Everything revolves around him. You can affect him if you get after him," Defensive end Will Smith said after watching the team closely by film, according to NFL.com. "And teams have been stopping the run against them to create long-yardage situations. ... They're getting a lot of pressure on Aaron, and you see him throwing the ball before he's ready. That's what we need to do."
But the Green Bay Packers are not exactly anyone's first choice to go up against after coming from three successive defeats. They will be coming out today to try and set the record straight after feeling slighted by a replacement ref whose call decided the game winning touchdown by the Seattle Seahawks against them on Monday. But dispute aside, coach Mike McCarthy is determined to keep his eye on the ball.
"We need to stay focused," McCarthy said. "The fact of the matter is we're about New Orleans. We're in tune with staying true to the integrity of the Green Bay Packers, how we conduct ourselves, being professional during a tough time, during a challenge."
The Saints came close last week against Kansas City before losing 27-24 in overtime. Saint's guard Jahri Evans blames a roster switch, but has stated that it is time to move on.
"We're definitely struggling a little bit," Evans said, according to CBS Sports. "Sean Payton is a big part of this team since I've been here, but he's not here now, so that's something we can't dwell on or expect him to walk through the door because it's not going to happen. We have to just go out there and get it done."
With the original refs back in place, many fans are hoping for a good game. Kick off starts at 4:25 pm E.T. and can be watched by clicking here.
