New PlayStation Games for Feb. 28: 'A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV,' 'Horizon: Zero Dawn' Lead the Pack
PlayStation owners are in for a wild ride this month as some critically acclaimed titles are making their way to the console. With a myriad of themes and options to choose from, they promise to bring hours of gameplay for each avid player.
In a PlayStation blog post, Sony Interactive Entertainment America Social Media senior specialist Ryan Clements details 13 new games arriving this week. In the list, one title can be played via PlayStation 4 (PS4), PS VR or PS Vita, another is available through cross-buy for PS4 and PS Vita, the other one is a PS Vita exclusive, a classic game is reborn on the PS3, and the other nine titles are playable on the PS4.
The first title is the highly anticipated game from Guerrilla Games, "Horizon: Zero Dawn." The game has been receiving rave reviews and has multiple accolades tied to its name. As Aloy, the player traverses through the lush terrain of a post-apocalyptic world where machines roam the Earth. She must discover a long forgotten civilization while hunting down those who threaten the peace in the land.
From the widely successful Final Fantasy franchise, "A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV" becomes available as digital download on March 1. Dated 30 years before the events of "Final Fantasy XV," King Regis tells Noctis a bedtime story about him and his other three companions. Rendered in retro-styled design, it aims to replicate an experience that inspires nostalgia while delivering another side of the story.
Aside from the two mentioned games, other titles include "ACA NeoGeo Nam-1975," "Dying: Reborn," "forma.8," "Ghost Blade HD," "Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride," "The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing," "Stranger of Sword City Revisited," "Suikoden IV," "Torment: Tides of Numenera," "The Walking Dead — The Telltale Series: A New Frontier" and "WRC 6."
PlayStation's "The Drop" features new content starting Tuesday of the new week, and so PlayStation fans can expect even more titles next week.
