New York Giants Show Interest in Patrick Mahomes II
Ben McAdoo has never attended a pro day workout since he became the head coach for the New York Giants. He would send scouts and other team personnel to the college campuses to check out the prospects, but he never went there himself. So when he suddenly shows up for one, people are certainly going to talk.
Several sources, including ESPN, have reported that McAdoo was spotted at the Texas Tech pro day on Friday checking out quarterback Patrick Mahomes II. NFL.com's Mike Garafolo has also reported that McAdoo met privately with the young quarterback the night before the pro day workout.

Mahomes is one of the top quarterbacks in this year's draft class, and it looks like the Giants are at least considering using a high draft pick on him. The team has the 23rd overall pick and the 55th overall pick in the draft.
Mahomes is raw, but he does have the natural talent to be a good quarterback.
"Mahomes has a strong arm and is mobile, but he played in an Air Raid offense at Texas Tech that is drastically different from any NFL scheme. He also is said to have mechanical issues that need to be worked out, as well as a bit of a gunslinger streak," James Kratch of NJ Advance Media said in his report.
"There would be a learning curve for Mahomes when he transitions to the NFL. He would likely be best suited going to a team that can develop him, and does not have to play him right away," he continued.
The Giants just signed Geno Smith a couple of weeks ago, and they also re-signed Josh Johnson. However, they probably don't think either of them has what it takes to become their quarterback of the future.
