New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics Live Stream, Start Time: Watch National Basketball Association Preseason Online
Two storied franchises meet in the preseason.
Two of the most storied teams in the Eastern Conference meet at the Madison Square Garden as the New York Knicks host the Boston Celtics in the preseason of the National Basketball Association.
The match is on October 16, 2015 at 7:30 PM ET.
Both squads are far from the heights that people normally see the franchises in as the Celtics are currently filled with young players and are at a rebuilding phase for the future. Meanwhile, the Knicks have been stuck in a mediocre state for a long period and only now do they seem to be moving towards the right direction.
However, this does not remove the fact that the teams can perform well in certain times – making this meeting a good one to watch.
So far, the Celtics have only played one preseason game in a 109-105 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
In the game, guard Isaiah Thomas led the team with 17 points, four rebounds, and came close to a double-double with nine assists.
Six players scored in double figures for Boston in the game where they shot 47% from the field and an impressive 50% from beyond the arc as they went 13-of-26 from deep.
Meanwhile, the Knicks have also impressed in their first two games of the preseason as they first beat the Washington Wizards 115-104 before outlasting the Philadelphia 76ers 94-88.
In the win over Philly, Derrick Williams looked good in his new team as he scored 21 points in under 26 minutes on the floor.
Carmelo Anthony also played a decent amount during that game, scoring 18 points while shooting 6-of-11 from the field.
Langston Galloway continued to impress critics as the young player added 11 from the bench as he continues to be a spark for New York.
