Newsboys New Video 'God's Not Dead (Like a Lion)' Focuses on Existence of God

Newsboys have recently released a new music video that focuses on a world devoid of the belief in the existence of God.

Newsboys have released a new album titled "God's Not Dead,” a new single "God's Not Dead (Like a Lion)" and started a tour. The band newest single, "God's Not Dead (Like a Lion)" has reached the No. 3 spot on Billboard's Christian CHR Chart.

The band created a music video to accompany the album’s theme. The video depicts the members of the Newsboys going about their day and encountering false reports about Jesus. By the end of the video they have gathered together in proclamation of a living Savior.

The album titled “God's Not Dead” has invoked a strong response from the band's lead singer Michael Tait. "He's more than an idea or spiritual being," the Newsboys' Michael Tait told The Christian Post, referring to the title of their new worship album. "'God's Not Dead' is so important, because people need to hear sometimes that He's real. He's alive. Jesus was raised from the dead.”

The single, which is currently at the No. 3 spot on Billboard's Christian CHR Chart, and No. 17 on the Christian AC indicator chart, features Kevin Max, formerly of DC Talk.

The video debuted this week on Vevo.

The Newsboys began their "God's Not Dead" Tour along with the Abandon, The City Harmonic, Anthem Lights, and Bob Lenz. The tour is scheduled to be completed on May 6 in Williamsburg, Va.
