The official synopsis of the third episode titled, 'Cover' is as follows: "At Quantico, Alex finally receives information about her father and his FBI past, but in the future it's her mother, Sita, who plays a key role when Liam convinces her to participate in a press conference on national television begging Alex to turn herself in. The past timeline will show the new recruits on their assignments – that is to analyze and uncover truth and lies about each other. A few more secrets of the new recruits will be revealed in the third episode.

In the present timeline, Alex will continue to run and hide. Liam tries to rope in Alex's mother, Sita, into the whole thing by getting her to attend a press conference to persuade Alex to surrender.

Alex's mother Sita is played by Anna Khaja and she will be one of the main characters.

"Quantico" is two episodes old and already, we are eager to know who the terrorist is if not Alex Parrish, as showrunner Josh Safran hinted that she is not and nor is she a double agent.

Safran spoke to Entertainment Weekly, and discussed that the premiere was the setting up of the stage to show that everybody is a suspect in the bombing at the Grand Central Station.

He said, "The truth of the matter is in the pilot, they're all suspects. It's important to note that you'll meet other NATs as the season progresses. We look at it much like 'Lost' in that you're meeting new people from different rows of the plane as the series progresses, so you're meeting new trainees, and the trainees are just as much suspects as anyone you meet in the pilot."

'Cover' the third episode of "Quantico" airs on Sunday October 11 on ABC.
