There have been many rumors about the Nexus 10 2, with one camp saying that the gadget will never be released, while another is claiming that it's well on its way to the market.

Currently, there are rumors saying that the original 10-inch design has been scrapped and a newer, 8.9 inch design has been approved. Evleaks has announced on Twitter that the tablet will be developed by Asus. However, HTC is currently rumored to be the top contender for the Nexus 10 2.

The tablet's specs and features continue to be a mystery, but the Nexus 10 2 is expected to be slimmer than its predecessors. It is also said to be operating on the new Android OS, the Android L, and it will supposedly have boomsound speakers on the front.
