Nexus 7 Price Drops to $169 on eBay for 32GB Model

The Nexus 7 received a significant price drop for eBay customers as a refurbished version of the 32GB model costs just $169.

This basically slashes the price by 43 percent. The tablet is "manufacturer refurbished," which means customers will get the Asus' workmanship quality guarantee and a 90-day full product warrantee.

It is being offered by a Seattle-based seller with 98.9 percent positive feedback and a standard 30-day return window. International clients can use worldwide USPS shipping.

This is the 2013 version of the Nexus 7 that features a full HD screen and other high-end specs.

The Nexus 10 might still be afloat as reports point to Google developing a tablet or smartphone under the codename Flounder.

The company frequently uses marine life as code to keep its Nexus devices under wraps. The original Nexus 10 went by Mantaray and the Nexus 5 was Hammerhead.

9to5 Google reports that Flounder is a smartphone or tablet that is powered by a Cortex-A15 processor. Unfortunately, no other specs were identified in the spotting of the device.

This could also be a device that will launch Google's Android Silver line.

Google is currently working to create the Android Silver program, which involves manufacturers and wireless carriers getting paid to produce and sell high-end devices that closely adhere to the company's specifications. This new deal will replace the existence of the Nexus smartphone line and usher in a new era of Android.

It will have certain restrictions including the limiting the number of non-Google apps that can come pre-installed on devices that fall under this category.

Other rumors say that Google and HTC are currently working on a Nexus 8 model that will replace the Nexus 10 and Nexus 7.
