Pop stars Cher and Nicki Minaj have been engaged in a fierce Twitter feud over the Thanksgiving holiday break.

The argument was sparked when a Cher fan left a comment for her asking what she thought about Nicki Minaj’s “diss” towards her in the song “Did It On ‘Em.”

The lyrics the fan was referring to states: “If you could turn back time, Cher/ You used to be here, now you're gone, Nair.”

Cher, upon being notified of the “diss” hit back; herself responding on Twitter saying: “I've seen lots of people come & go! No biggie!”

That subtle remark sparked Minaj’s boyfriend Safaree Samuel to come out fighting in Minaj’s corner saying: “yo @cher listen to the words b4 you say dumb **** on twitter... do you know what a rap metaphore (sic) is???”

Cher then tried to tone down the conversation tweeting: “U R right! Someone said I was dissed...I've been dissed b4, but instead of finding out I just got defensive! I should know better.”

All parties then deleted their original tweets.
