Nicole Kidman Talks About Kiss With Alexander Skarsgård During 2017 Emmys

After the photo of actors Alexander Skarsgård and Nicole Kidman kissing during a jam-packed event went viral, the latter has finally addressed the matter.

Last month, at the 2017 Emmy Awards, Skarsgård bagged the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the television miniseries "Big Little Lies."

As the 41-year-old actor walked to the stage to accept the award, everyone was surprised when he and his co-star Kidman kissed, while her husband, Keith Urban, was seated right beside her.

During Kidman's recent appearance on "The Graham Norton Show," a photo of the said moment was shown. "You are so provocative, Graham," Kidman jokingly told the television host and proceeded to finally speak up about the controversial kiss.

"I kissed my husband too!" she assured the viewers and explained her working relationship with Skarsgård, who played her on-screen husband in "Big Little Lies," where they shared plenty of emotional scenes as a couple.

"You've got to understand I did everything with Alex," the 50-year-old actress said. "I've got an amazing, supportive, gorgeous husband who I love more than anything in the world and I gave Alex a congratulatory kiss and he's like a mannequin!" she added.

Flustered, after realizing what she just said, she took back the last statement and added, "I mean, not a mannequin."

Kidman also reportedly won an Emmy for her performance on the HBO miniseries. Her husband, on the other hand, seemed very supportive as he watched and clapped as the two co-stars shared a friendly congratulatory kiss.

"Big Little Lies" was based on the best-selling novel of the same title by Liane Moriarty. Apart from Kidman and Skarsgård, the miniseries starred Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz, Adam Scott, James Tupper, and more.

Other awards received by the miniseries included Outstanding Casting for a Limited Series, Movie or Special, Outstanding Limited Series, Outstanding Music Supervision, and Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie or a Dramatic Special.
