Nigella Lawson Trailer Released Ahead of Highly Anticipated Return to 'The Taste'
Nigella Lawson will be once again hosting the popular food competition show "The Taste" as she tries to put allegations of habitual drug use behind her.
The 10-part series will feature chefs from all backgrounds and experience levels and have them compete in a number of cooking challenges as the judges comprised of Lawson, Anthony Bourdain and Ludo Lefebvre eliminate contestants based on blind taste tests.
When the number of contestants becomes 12 the judges will select a team of four that will compete against the other two teams. Given that the taste tests are blind it is possible for a judge to eliminate a member of their own team.

Lawson has been in the news recently after her highly publicized separation and allegations that she became addicted to cocaine and marijuana.
The allegations became known during a pre-trial hearing in London after Lawson accused two former assistants of defrauding her and her ex-husband Charles Saatchi out of more than 300,000 British pounds ($484,600) while they were employed by them.
The drug abuse accusations were made by Francesca and Elisabetta Grillo, who were former kitchen assistants employed by the celebrity chef, and stated that Lawson used cocaine, marijuana and prescription pills for more than a decade, according to reports by The Daily Telegraph.
The sisters have maintained their innocence and revealed that they were authorized by Lawson to use Saatchi's company credit card with the understanding that they were not to reveal her drug use.
Her recent troubles are not bringing Lawson down and she expressed optimism for the future.
"The past months have been extremely difficult but I am looking forward to getting back to work and to looking after my family. I will survive this and move forward. I just want to focus on my family life and work," read a statement released by her publicist Mark Hutchinson.
"The Taste" premieres on Jan. 7.
