Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder News: Nina Allegedly Bans Ian's Girlfriend From 'Vampire Diaries' Set

It looks like ex-couple and "Vampire Diaries" stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder won't be getting chummy anytime soon as Nina has allegedly banned Ian's current girlfriend, "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed, from the set of their hit CW show.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Nina was reportedly getting tired and disgusted at the pair's constant public display of affection on the set of "The Vampire Diaries." And while the actress has made it clear before that she does not want to get back together with her ex-boyfriend, apparently the star feels that a little respect is in order as Reed is currently on her list.

Nikki and Nina used to be close friends before the "Twilight" star reportedly violated the "girl code" by dating Ian after he and Nina broke up. Apparently, Ian has no qualms when it comes to showing off his relationship with Nikki as he has taken to social media on more than one occasion to post pictures of them adopting various animals and to declare his love for her.

"Ian and Nikki's relationship is causing a lot of drama, to the point where the producers have asked Ian not to bring Nikki to set when Nina is there because they are very worried about losing her," a source told CDL.

With Nina's upcoming crossover episode in "The Originals," there has been speculation that the actress might be preparing to make the move to the aforementioned series, which is a spinoff of "The Vampire Diaries." However, since she is appearing in a flashback as Tatia, a woman both Klaus and Elijah fell in love with, it's unlikely that she will have a permanent spot on the series, unless show creator Julie Plec makes some major rewrites to include her in "The Originals" universe for good.

For now, neither Nina nor Ian has commented on the banning rumors.
