Nintendo SNES Classic Mini Review: On Longer Cables and a List of Games Made for Fans
Nintendo is working hard to keep the hype up on their products since they made a spectacular comeback during this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
Recently, Nintendo has released their latest console in the form of the Super NES (SNES) Classic Mini. Given how many were disappointed with the first version last year, critics had much to say about the Nintendo SNES Classic Mini.
Express lauded Nintendo's efforts of applying what they learned from last year's model. The Nintendo SNES Classic Mini now features controllers with twice the cable length, which makes it easier to play than its predecessor.
The gaming giant also included another controller in the package, which is definitely a good decision on their part and a welcome change for the fans. The design of the Nintendo SNES Classic Mini is also impeccable that it weighs a lot less than what would be expected of a console that has support for over 20 games.
Meanwhile, The Sydney Morning Herald particularly favored the fact that the titles included in the Nintendo Super NES Classic Mini are some of the best that can be played on the console. The list includes some "Super Mario" installments, "Star Fox 2," "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past," and "Streetfighter 2." For long-time fans of the classic, the list is one that is a dream come true.
The only issue that fans seem to be pointing out about the Nintendo SNES Classic Mini is if the gaming company made enough for everyone who would like to get their hands on it. The issue of undersupplying is nothing new for Nintendo's latest releases. However, given that the SNES Classic Mini is a definite must-buy for fans, Nintendo might not make enough to satisfy their fans. Regardless, the Nintendo SNES Classic Mini is a hands-down success.
