Nintendo Switch 'Battle Royale' Game News: Popular Multiplayer Style Coming to Console Through 'Crazy Justice'

Along with the announcement of the crowdfunding campaign for a Nintendo Switch version of "Crazy Justice," independent software company Black Riddles Studio also revealed that they will also be bringing the popular Battle Royale multiplayer style to the console for the first time.

For the uninitiated, the Battle Royale style of gaming is where multiple players battle it out with each other until only one of them remains standing.

As reported by VideoGamer, the third person shooter game allows players to take on the role of a hero whose goal is to save the world from forces of evil by activating tesla coils hidden in various locations across the globe.

The publication also states that "Crazy Justice" will have similar visuals with "Fortnite" in terms of the in-game environment, as well as the players' abilities to destroy environments, deploy turrets, and build barricades.

Currently, the crowdfunding campaign is reportedly almost 70 percent from its $30,000 goal. According to Nintendo Life, the game is set to become available on the Switch sometime in the second quarter of 2018. As of now, the exact release date has not been announced.

Users can play solo or in a cooperative, but the game is likely to focus more on the latter as "Crazy Justice" is said to have several multiplayer modes, such as Survive, Protect the Tesla, Survive the Tesla, and of course, the newly announced Battle Royale.

Should Black Riddles Studio succeed in this project, they will be the first to bring the Battle Royale mode to the handheld console. The company is reportedly also trying to implement a split-screen support for the Switch version of "Crazy Justice."

Apart from the Switch, the game will also be released with versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Fans are encouraged to wait for more updates regarding the development of the game.
