Nintendo's Classic Mini NES Will Remain in Production
30 games playable on Nintendo's Classic Mini NES
The Nintendo Classic Mini NES has been a highly coveted item for many gamers out there, and for those who may not have one to call their own just yet, they can still expect to have opportunities to make that purchase in the future.
After some recent rumors began to hint that production of the gaming platform may be halted, the folks over at Nintendo took some time to clear the air and assure fans that production is not set to end.
In a statement released to Tech Radar, Nintendo assured fans that production of the platform is still ongoing and that newly produced units will be shipped out to retailers regularly.
This is undoubtedly good news for those gamers who have been able to successfully obtain a unit for themselves thus far, as they can still expect to see more of them.
For those who may not know much about Nintendo's Classic Mini NES, this item takes players back to an earlier era of gaming, back when now iconic characters were just starting to establish themselves and visuals were simpler but arguably more charming.
Upon getting this gaming system, players will able to choose from 30 different titles to experience again, or for those younger gamers, they can see why these older offerings were so beloved in the first place.
Among the 30 games players can try out are classic titles such as "Super Mario Bros.," "PAC-MAN," "Donkey Kong," "The Legend of Zelda," "Metroid," "Castlevania" and "Final Fantasy."
Suspend Point slots included in the gaming system will allow players to save their progress and pick up right where they left off some other time.
Players will also be able to select from different display modes, and one of these even features a CRT filter that makes it seem like the game is being played on an older television, according to Nintendo.
More news about Nintendo's Classic Mini NES should be made available in the near future.
