'No Man's Sky' News: Patch 1.22 Detailed, Will Make Significant Changes to Exocraft Geobays
Exact date for when Patch 1.22 will be rolled out in full for 'No Man's Sky' not known just yet
Fresh off releasing the feature-filled "Path Finder" update for "No Man's Sky," developers are now working on a smaller patch that will address some lingering issues and also add one very useful feature.
Detailed in a recent post on the game's official website, Patch 1.22 will be making big changes to Exocraft Geobays.
As soon as Patch 1.22 is installed, it will become possible for players to craft Exocraft Geobays regardless of which planet they are on. This new feature should make traveling on planets significantly easier for players as it will now be possible for them to summon their Exocrafts on any planet.
For those who may still be unfamiliar with Exocrafts, developers talked about them in an earlier post on the game's official website.
These Exocrafts are primarily designed for exploring the surfaces of planets. They can also be equipped with additional accessories that can help turn them into better mining, harvesting and even battling machines.
Considering how helpful these Exocrafts are, "No Man's Sky" players will likely be pleased that Patch 1.22 will now make them even more accessible than before.
New HUD markers are also being introduced to the game via Patch 1.22 to make it easier for players to find the Exocraft Geobays.
Aside from the Exocraft Geobay changes, Patch 1.22 also addresses bugs that previously affected mining lasers and weapons as well as other ones that could lead to crashes.
Currently, developers have also indicated over on Steam that they are still checking how stable these changes included in Patch 1.22 are. Once the changes have been observed working properly, developers will then roll out the patch for the live game and players will be able to utilize the newly introduced features.
More news about Patch 1.22 and other updates that may be released for "No Man's Sky" should be made available in the near future.
