'No Man's Sky' Release Date Set in June 2016, Video For Managing Hype Released
The adventure survival video game "No Man's Sky" is going to hit store shelves soon as an expected date of arrival has already been announced by publisher and developer Hello Games. According to a report by College News, the game will be released sometime in June 2016.
It was announced back in October during the Paris Games Week and ever since then, fans have been very excited to know more about "No Man's Sky." They already know though that the game will feature over 18 quintillion planets to explore and each digitally-rendered planet is planet-sized. They know about The Atlas, which will be used in the game as an encyclopedic database to fill up and shared among all other players of the game.
It's also already been teased that some of the planets they will explore through contain exotic flora and fauna which have never been seen and discovered before. Players will be traveling through the exploration via a starship.
Because the details of the game have been released ahead, the hype about it has been rising. And even though Hello Games' programmer Sean Murray appreciates the attention given to the upcoming game, he recently urged fans to approach the final product with realistic views. Design &Trend detailed that Murray admitted that the hype was the reason for the overspread of the title's initial reveal. But he inquisitively defined hype as "excitement that will ultimately end in hurt."
A video titled, "Managing the Hype" was released featuring Murray. In the video, the programmer talked in deeper detail about what the game is all about. He explained what fans can expect with the game in order to give them a more realistic view. He also admitted that there's "lots of pressure" to give the audience what it wants. He revealed that he and the team have stepped away from social media so that they can focus better.
"No Man's Sky" will simultaneously be made available for PS4 and PC.
