'No Man's Sky' release date & update: game involves detailed work, to be available on virtual reality consoles?

A very common question thrown to the creator of "No Man's Sky" is when the game will be released. But it seems like such questions are not pressuring Sean Murray at all as he simply replies, "Soon." So until now, there isn't a definite date yet as to when the game will be available for purchase. But according to a report by Latino Post, the adventure-survival video game may push through later this year.

Reports say that Hello World and Murray are both confident that the game will be released in PS4, as well as a PC version this year. If ever this is true, then fans can expect the game to be in their hands around October to December.

But it's really no surprise why there's a long hold up. To begin with, the game is said to involve meticulous work. MNR Daily said that "No Man's Sky" is a "massively-detailed" videogame. In this game, players explore new worlds in the universe with each place consisting of details that needs to be carefully and thoughtfully done by the people from Hello Games.

Even the smallest details are being considered which means Murray and his team are spending lots of time just make sure that they are able to develop each and every detail. Because of this, some sources say that the game will probably not be ready by 2016. The intricate work involved makes it impossible for the game to be finished before the year ends.

Needless to say, fans are excited for the latest update on the game. As said in Youth Health Mag, there is a possibility that the game will come to virtual reality consoles such as Sony's Morpheus and the Oculus Rift.
"It's something we're thinking about. Morpheus, Oculus," said Murray, according to Latino Post. "There's nothing cooler and sci-fi than VR and a big procedural universe."

For more update on the games, fans will have to stay tuned and keep crossing fingers that it the wait for the game will not be longer than expected.
