'No Man's Sky' Release Date Updates – See the Celebratory Tweet: Developer Announces Completion of Survival Video Game
Hello Games and "No Man's Sky" Has Gone Golden
Sean Murray of Hello Games has announced that "No Man's Sky" has already been finished.
The open-world exploration game has left a lot of fans displeased over the last couple of months since its multiple delays. However, Murray personally took to Twitter to officially announce that "No Man's Sky" will finally be released after 4 long years of being in production.
"No Man's Sky" Absolute Shoe-In for August 2016 Release?
Murray wrote on his Twitter that the game "went gold," and according to PC Gamer, "No Man's Sky" is officially finished. The last release date was moved from May to August 9 this year because the Hello Games team needed more time to work on the game. The game is playable for PS4 and PC via Steam.
The game includes numerous game mechanics including planetary exploration, foraging for resources, getting into dogfights, gear upgrades, and surviving through the set mechanics.
According to Tech Radar, "No Man's Sky" is considered to be one of the most awaited games in 2016. However, while the game has gone gold, there is no official word whether it will finally be released on the said date as post-production could get in the way of the release.
Can "No Man's Sky" Live the Hype?
The game is marketed to be a space exploration game and is considered to be so unique that players with the same game don't get to have the same experience. According to the official website of "No Man's Sky," the game will continuously generate galaxies based on how the player interacts with its surroundings.
The game is playable with other people and every action has consequences. It is marketed to be a "truly open universe" to which Hello Games says to have more than 18 quintillion planets that will take billions of years to explore in this lifetime.
This type of game genre may not be everyone's cup of tea but for fans of open universe exploration, can "No Man's Sky" live up to much built hype it garnered over the years?
