Nokia C1 Specs and Renders Leaked Online
Nokia has not released new models of smartphones in the past few years, but rumors about a new device called the Nokia C1 have made their rounds on the Internet recently.
Rumor has it that Nokia is planning to launch a new smartphone called the Nokia C1. While confirmed details about the design of the device are still scant, GSMArena talked about leaked renders and specifications of the said smartphone, according to Yibada.
Based on rumored specs and features, the Nokia C1 will have two variants. The first one will sport a 5.5-inch display and a 13-megapixel rear camera. This phablet will also come with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card slot, the report details.
The second variant will have a 5-inch display and will come with an 8-megapixel rear camera. It will also have 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of memory, the report relays.
Both Nokia C1 variants, however, will have full-HD resolutions and 5-megapixel front snappers. The device is expected to run on either the Android 5.0 Lollipop or Windows 10 mobile operating system. The phone's processor is expected to be from Intel, and the device itself will be released in selected markets only, Neurogadget reports.
As for the general appearance, GSMArena's report shows leaked images that show devices that appear to be enclosed in plastic casing. The rumored Nokia C1 will be available in black, white, pale orange, and pink color variants. However, Microsoft may opt to release the device in other shades, the report notes.
Nokia is expected to release its own lineup of smartphones next year, and reports say the first device will be out by November 2016. While the company's CEO Rajeev Suria confirmed plans for the Nokia C1, rumors about the device's specs and features should be taken with a grain of salt for now.
