Oct. 22 Episode, 'Meet Bonnie' of 'How To Get Away With Murder': Why Did Bonnie Kill Sam & Rebecca?

In the fifth episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" titled "Meet Bonnie," three major cases - Sam's murder, Rebecca's disappearance and the Hapstall Siblings case - will continue in the background while the main story of this episode features Bonnie and her relationship with Annalise.

The official synopsis of the episode titled "Meet Bonnie" does not mention Bonnie at all. It reads as follows: "Asher discovers not everything is what it seems when you work for Annalise. Meanwhile, Frank is presented with a situation that hits close to home, and Wes' search to find out more about Rebecca's disappearance culminates into an explosive confrontation."

Viewers will recall that Bonnie was revealed as Rebecca's murderer. This episode might continue on from Bonnie's (Liza Weil) confession to Asher at the end of episode 4 wherein she confesses to killing Sam Keating.

All viewers know about Bonnie is that she is working as Annalise's right-hand-woman and had a previous relationship with Asher. Will this episode finally start the story of why Bonnie killed Sam and Rebecca? Bonnie claims that she killed Rebecca to protect Annalise. But protect Annalise from what?

The synopsis also hints at Frank getting embroiled in something that he is not comfortable with and that he might finally get intimate with Laurel.

What is intriguing is that whatever happens in each episode, the case of the Hapstall siblings is always in the background with Annalise shooting down the idea of the adopted siblings, Caleb and Catherine, killing their wealthy parents and aunt to protect their incestuous relationship. Why does Annalise always scoff at this theory that has everybody else convinced? One of the speculations is that Caleb is actually Annalise's son and had been given up for adoption where the wealthy Hapstalls took him in. Does Annalise know who he is and is protecting him?

The stage is set for a lot of further twists and turns and viewers are not going to get all the answers soon.

The episode, 'Meet Bonnie' of "How to Get Away With Murder" airs on Thursday October 22 at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
